چکیده

Abst-ract constraint. A static grasp occurs, for example, if a cube is grasped in a frictional parallel-jaw gripper, since the frictional forces must be included to verify stability. A quasi-static grasp might correspond to pushing a sofa across the floor-the sofa retains contact with the effector to balance the forces of sliding This paper' describes some preliminary work on dynamic manipulation -some ezamples, a definition, and analysis of throwing a club.

Planning and Control of Two-Link Rigid Flexible Manipulators in Dynamic Object Manipulation Missions

This research focuses on proposing an optimal trajectory planning and control method of two link rigid-flexible manipulators (TLRFM) for Dynamic Object Manipulation (DOM) missions. For the first time, achievement of DOM task using a rotating one flexible link robot was taken into account in [20]. The authors do not aim to contribute on either trajectory tracking or vibration control of the End-...

Optimal Trajectory Planning of a Box Transporter Mobile Robot

This paper aims to discuss the requirements of safe and smooth trajectory planning of transporter mobile robots to perform non-prehensile object manipulation task. In non-prehensile approach, the robot and the object must keep their grasp-less contact during manipulation task. To this end, dynamic grasp concept is employed for a box manipulation task and corresponding conditions are obtained an...

Application of Nano-Contact Mechanics Models in Manipulation of Biological Nano-Particle: FE Simulation

Contact mechanics is related to the deformation study of solids that meet each other at one or more points. The physical and mathematical formulation of the problem is established upon the mechanics of materials and continuum mechanics and focuses on computations involving bodies with different characteristics in static or dynamic contact. Contact mechanics gives essential information for the s...

Soft Contact-based Rigid Object Manipulation : Planar Case

This paper focuses on the soft contact-based rigid object manipulation. First, a dynamic model of an object manipulation by two-fingered robot hand with soft fingertips is presented. In particular, we deal with a planar case to show certain valuable features in softfingertiped manipulation tasks. Next, in order to analyze the motion of using soft fingertips, a dynamic manipulation control schem...

Brief Communications Decrease in Muscle Contraction Time Complements Neural Maturation in the Development of Dynamic Manipulation

Developmental improvements in dynamic manipulation abilities are typically attributed to neural maturation, such as myelination of corticospinal pathways, neuronal pruning, and synaptogenesis. However the contributions from changes in the peripheral motor system are less well understood. Here we investigated whether there are developmental changes in muscle activation-contraction dynamics and w...
